Meet the Deer's, they are squatters!

Yesterday, we received a call to preview a property in the Gorden Head area of Saanich in Greater Victoria and complete an evaluation report.
On one of the most beautiful days to date this year, it is always a great pleasure to visit a nice property, but what we found did take me by "pleasant" surprise...

As I walked up to the "vacant" property, it became very clear that I was not alone......

Meet " The Deers" a family of 4...... as I walked the property, in my ignorance I woke up one of the family members and he reluctantly got up and moved to the back of the house, and decided on the alternate bedroom.

Okay, now that I was on alert, I moved to the back yard to find an amazingly beautiful property, (more on the property in a later post) and  meet Buck, he was clearly annoyed to be disturbed in his afternoon siesta,.......
So Buck decided to  move around the corner and observe me for a slightly greater distance.

Then  returning to the front of the house, I found the young ones.... having a little afternoon snack, and doing a bit of grooming.....

In and around Greater Victoria, and specially near some of the larger parks in this case Mount Doug Park as well as UVIC, there are many deer families enjoying near perfect living conditions, a mild climate, plenty of shelter, and a never ending supply of fresh flowers........;0)

I hope you enjoyed meeting "The Deer's" of Gordon Head, Victoria, I sure did.
