Peter and Linda....Don't you just love those first signs of spring? In spite of the periods of terrible weather punctuated by brief periods of sun and warmth...April is wonderful, because we know that things will only get better.
Please show more pics when your garden is in full bloom.
Hi Peter and Linda
It snowed in Kelowna yesterday!
I was going to do a spring cleanup on the boat this weekend in anticipation of boating season. But I think I will wait a bit.
Lew
Peter and Linda, Spring is definitely in the air in British Columbia. Very nice photos!
Nice photos, your yard is springing and down here in Illinois we are barely getting the grass green and I have seen a few daffodils and that is it! We are 17f below average. One day...one day it will come.
Hi Cheryl,
Linda is our Green Thump, she gets everything to look and smell awesome, and has a lot of fun doing it.
as far as the CSA, is a Certified Senior Adviser and was just changed to Certified Professional Consultant on Aging CPCA and is a very comprehensive course and education on all aspects on aging.
HI Howard and Susan,
Thank you for the feedback and kind words, yes every day things get a little nicer out there, we might even have dinner out this weekend.....
Hi Lew,
Yes we are not that far apart and the weather between us is very distinct, we had all of 2 bouts of snow, and only the last one was around longer than 2 days.
Hi Micheal,
At least it is in our neck of the woods. Linda's family in Prince George and Mc Kenzie, were reporting snow earlier this week....But things are looking up.
Hi Corinne,
Sorry to hear that you have not seen spring arrive, it does very much change how people act, and how many people you see and hear from.
Hi Peter & Linda, Very nice pics! Makes me want to do head out and take a good look at what's been sprouting up in my yard as well. Things are starting to bloom everywhere! Yeah Spring!
Ahhh yes Peter and Linda, we enjoyed it! We are still breathing in the scents of these beautiful flowers!!
Hi Cindy,
thank you for your kind words, yes take some time and smell the flowers, walking around with a camera, is really a lot of fun, because if automatically makes you appreciate your surroundings.....
Enjoy.
Beautiful pictures. Thank you for sharing!
Hi Al and Peggy,
Yes Linda cut a few of the Hyacinths, and they smell just wonderful thru-out the whole house,
happy easter.
Hi Donald,
Thank you for visiting and happy easter...
Beautiful Spring photos! So lovely when bursts of color refresh the landscape ~ have a great weekend!
Hi Diane,
Thanks for visiting, yes color makes all the difference and helping it grow in your own yard is a hobby that pays dividend every month with a new burst of fresh colors and smells....
I can only imagine how beautiful your property is. I can't imagine that you do NOT use the Realtor® trademark!!!
I like the post, I like Spring and I like you. Why do they call it spring...? I wonder
I LOVE SPRING and all the lovely flowers, I even love the weeds, especially this year after such a horrible winter here in Seacoast NH......thanks for the pics. Enjoy your Easter.
Patricia/Seacoast NH & ME
Hi Sandra,
Thank you for your feedback and comments,
We live in Saanich West along a street with small city lots, Linda and I love doing home improvement projects and enjoy working in the yard.
The Realtor trademark thing is more oversight and is a little tricky as in Canada it should be a "tm" rather than the R (which is American), but you are correct to point it out and we will look into it.
Hi Richie,
There is an entire blog post that we could dedicate to the various meanings to the word "Spring" but I love your pictures as a valuable addition to the joys of Spring and the Easter Bunny "hopping around" with spring adjustments ;)
Hi Patricia,
the weeds are the parts I did not show in the pictures...... but yes you are so right after a dreary winter, any color is better than none at all.
Happy Easter...
Peter and Linda:
British Columbia is so beautiful and your pictures make your point. Happy that spring has come to BC. Thanks you for sharing your wonderful pictures. Happy Spring and Easter.
HI Evelyn,
Thank your for visiting and kind words, happy easter to you too.
Beautiful photos. The forsythia and tulips in my yard are coming up right now so that is spring to me.
Hi Erica,
Thank you for visiting, yes Spring is really here, walking around town today, no coat, sun beaming yipeeee.
Happy Easter
Nice to see all of the vibrant colors of spring after the whites and grays of winter. You have a beautiful yard!
Hi John,
Thank you for your kind words, yes our "gray, season is finaly over today is one of these perfect weather days.
Happy Easter
What great photos... so colorful and cheerful. Unfortunately we're a good three to four weeks behind you! We're having an especially long, wet and cold spring.
Gretchen
HI Gretchen
thanks for visiting sorry that your spring is still a little ways to come, Linda's Family up North in BC, has snow today, we are very fortunate to be where we are, with little if any real winters.
Happy Easter
Wow! Those are some gorgeous flowers Peter and Linda! Thanks for sharing them with us! Happy Easter and congratulations on the feature!!!
Hi Joni,
Thank you for your kind words, after an interesting AR day, we finf great comfort in little victories.
Happy Easter to you and loved ones...
I don't believe you have flowers up there already! We haven't even mowed our yard for the first time yet! Lucky you.
HI Rosalie,
Thank you for visiting and feedback. this year wwe are late with flowers, blossoms are typically by the end of January early February.
We start cutting the law in February......our Island gets the mildest winters anywhere in Canada.
Happy Easter.
Peter and Linda,
All the best to you. We are about one month behind in terms of weather.
Brian
Hi Brian,
Happy easter to you, and we are about 2 week behind a typical year just because of one little frost bout in January.
